Welcome to Pushing Daisies ♥ We are a canon Pokemon Adventures roleplay with an original plot designed to offer a multitude of plotting options for you and your characters! These are our rules so please take a look over these and if you have any questions, feel free to message a staff member.
We don't enforce a word count limit but please keep in mind that it is courteous to communicate with your thread partner if you prefer longer or shorter posts. We are a pg-13 rated site at the moment (this may be subject to change so an announcement will be made if the rating changes) so please keep in mind that some content is not suitable for younger members. Currently, Pushing Daisies has a limit of three canons per member so we can allow for all of our members to have an opportunity to play a canon character. Our skin allows for two icons, one that is 250x350 and another that is 100x100. Please keep these dimensions in mind when choosing your icons. If graphics help is ever needed, feel free to message a staff member for assistance! As a courtesy to all of our members, we do not allow chat speak for in character threads. We have no character limit at the moment and if there are any problems or questions with your application, a staff member will have no issue with helping out!
Our regulations for Pokemon are pretty simple! We currently have a level cap of 60 for each Pokemon as to ensure no one is too powerful from the get go and that there is always room for each character to grow and become stronger with their Pokemon. Because we are a canon Pokemon Adventures site, the Pokemon of our canons tend to have set levels so for canons where their Pokemon's levels are already set in stone, the level cap does not apply to them. Canons with set teams but no set levels are allowed to use their own judgement on if they would like to use the level cap or if they believe a Pokemon that has been with their canon long enough to have a level of over 60. This level cap is only for characters when they start out and is no longer enforced once everyone gets started on their journeys! That, however, does not mean that Pokemon levels should be changed once accepted. Instead, it provides you room for growth and training for both your character and their Pokemon so no one is stagnant at level 60 forever!
We encourage every character to continue to improve and expand their team, which means capturing wild Pokemon is more than welcome! We do ask that you check which Pokemon appear near which towns so no one is catching a wild Dratini where one never appears. If you are unsure, Bulbapedia offers a plethora of resources for where specific Pokemon are usually spotted. At the moment, we allow the standard 6 Pokemon per team which is also a way of encouraging everyone to get out there and catch some of the Pokemon that they desire but were unable to fit in the team of 6!
This brings us to the last regulation: the PC! In the games, PCs have a ton of storage for all of your wild Pokemon when you do not want to use them in your party. Currently, we have a limit on how many Pokemon you have in your PC as a way to encourage everyone to capture the Pokemon they desire the most. The current limit for how many Pokemon you may have in your PC is 50. In the future, the PC limit will increase in number based on an activity level. This way, you will be rewarded for being active with your characters and they will be able to grow as trainers with each increase. If there are any concerns, please feel free to message the staff or drop by the ask the staff portion of our discord!
Please be kind and courteous to each other. We will not tolerate any bullying, racism, or cruel activity of any kind. A three warning system will be put into place if anyone happens to cause a problem for another member. The first warning is a verbal one, while the second is a seven day suspension period, and the third is a complete ban. We hope that we will never have to enforce that system! We aim to include everyone in plots and threads, which is why site wide plots will happen frequently as a way to make sure every character is included. If you have any questions regarding the rules, please feel free to message an admin and we can help clear up any confusion!
